Dum Dum Girls “Coming Down” New Single
Lovely, but a wee bit too like Mazzy Stars ‘Fade Into You’. They must know they ripped it off right?

“The Keys - Fire Inside” - spotted on Gideon Coe’s show on 6music last night. Very retro, very sunny. The album’s worth a listen too.

Finding Bowies “Lodger’ album the other day reminded me of another tune I haven’t heard for ages, Cabaret Voltaire’s classic electro track ‘Yashar’. I used to play this in my 80’s set, not sure if anyone really liked it, but I do.
Why the hell have I only just discovered Bowie’s 1979 album ‘Lodger’? It’s brilliant of course. Fans of Talking Heads, look this way.
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There’s also a negative side.
